When I first moved to Brooklyn, my best friend, Charity Stebbins and I couldn't get a hold of one another. We were playing phone tag for weeks —  continually one-upping each other with the absurdity of our voicemails. She sent me a gorgeous poem titled 'Voicemail,' and I turned it into this song. Steven Sean Harrington and I filmed it this on a rooftop in Bushwick in January, 2013.
